Balbriggan is a small town located north off Dublin. In recent years, it has experienced a demographic and cultural shift. The town has one of the largest concentrations of ethnic minorities’ populations per head in Ireland and a significantly higher proportion of asylum seekers and people of African origin than any other area in Fingal.
INFORMATION AND ADVOCACY CENTRE
We run a drop in centre providing relevant, accurate, and culturally appropriate information and advocacy to individuals and groups from Balbriggan and surrounding areas. It is designed to support users in accessing social and health services.
ENGLISH CONVERSATIONAL CLASSES
ECC is a space dedicated to people who wish to practice and improve theirEnglish skills. Conversational classes are run informally in a friendly atmosphere. Classes take place two times per week.
INTEGRATION INITIATIVE & BALBRIGGAN INTEGRATION FORUM

GROUPS USING THE CENTRE
There are number of local groups using our centre. They include North Dublin Befriending Service, Alcoholics Anonymous, Grow, FailteIsteach, Harvest Men’s Group, Narcotics Anonymous, Good ShepherdInternational, Womb (Women of Multicultural BB), African Women’s Group. If your group or organisation wants to use the centre for meetings, please feel free to contact us.
We actively support a number of local groups including Balbriggan Women’s Group and Family Mirror.
